I bought the Daytona from a motorcycle dealer in Missouri and it was a hunk of junk that supposedly ran. Mucho dinero later it runs pretty well but still needs cosmetic work.
The chambers were on the bike when I got it. I think they are DG's. The seatcover has some type of American Indian motif that you can't really see in the photo. The seat will definitely be recovered and the paint will be redone in the near future.
This picture was taken on March 23, 2001. The bike had 250 miles on its rebore. We started off with 210 main jets and switched to 220's. A couple of weeks later it seized on the highway. I was able to ride it home, though.
Hanging out at Cameron's house in Kailua.
Here's an old picture I just found. It was taken around 1981 in Hilo, Hawaii. I bought this '74 RD350 for three hundred bucks. I put DG chambers, S&W shocks, K&N filters, Spec2 rearsets and a braided steel brake line on it. I sold it in 1983 when I bought a 1978 Suzuki GS750.
